Rad Tech (Radiologic Technologist)
Location:
Mount Pleasant, WI
Contract:
13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Mon–Thu)
Hours:
36 hrs/week
The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients. The role involves operating radiology equipment, assisting physicians during procedures, and ensuring high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures including chest, long bone, and portable imaging.
- Assist with C-arm and surgical imaging procedures.
- Provide imaging support for OR, ED, and inpatient units.
- Operate radiology equipment and maintain image quality standards.
- Document procedures and patient information in EPIC.
- Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols.
- ARRT Certification required.
- BLS Certification required.
- Must obtain Wisconsin Radiology License.
- Minimum 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience.
- Experience with portable imaging, surgical cases, and C-arm preferred.
- 60-bed Level III Trauma Center.
- Serves inpatient, outpatient, and ED populations (mostly adults, limited pediatrics).
- Technology includes EPIC, Pyxis, McKesson PACS, Canon/Client portables, and OEC C-arms.
