Packaging Quality Supervisor - Night Shift
We are seeking an experienced Packaging Quality Supervisor to lead our team in a dynamic food manufacturing environment. This role is crucial for maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring efficient operations during the night shift. You will oversee the packaging process, implement quality control measures, and train employees to meet our production goals.
Responsibilities- Supervise packaging operations during the night shift from 11:30 pm to 8 am, Sunday through Friday.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Train and mentor employees on packaging processes and quality control measures.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance packaging efficiency and product quality.
- Oversee the operation of multiple production lines, ensuring they meet daily order demands.
- Collaborate with the sanitation team to address challenges related to machinery cleaning and maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience within a food manufacturing facility.
- Proven experience in training employees and implementing quality standards.
- Familiarity with Microsoft programs and following SOPs.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of FDA and USDA regulations.
- Proficiency in quality control and production management.
Skills & Qualifications
- HACCP and SQF certifications are a plus.
- Experience with OSHA standards.
- Background in food production, especially in a bakery setting.
The role is based in a food manufacturing facility with multiple production lines. The environment is a bakery setting, equipped with large mixers and ovens. Production lines produce various products to meet daily order demands. The machinery requires disassembly for hand washing, presenting challenges for the sanitation team. This is a Permanent position based out of Mount Pleasant, WI.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $55000.00/yr.
This is a direct placement position. Benefits will be provided on start of assignment by client or sooner if requested by client.
