Job Overview
Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) supports plasma center operations under the Guidance of the Center Manager and Center Physician. Key responsibilities include donor eligibility determination, adverse event management, laboratory test review, and compliance with plasma collection regulations.
Responsibilities- Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, AIDS education, medical history interview, physical exam, blood testing, and review of serological protein electrophoresis.
- Manage donor adverse events and follow SOPs for medical emergencies.
- Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results.
- Coordinate with Center Physician and Medical Affairs for medical findings.
- Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
- Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health/ER.
- Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS, supporting investigations of pandemic threats.
- High school diploma or graduate equivalent of a recognized nursing program with state requirements.
- Current license or certification in the state of assignment (LPN or LVN).
- Current CPR and AED certification.
- Fulfil state requirements for basic IV therapy.
- Successfully complete FDA‑approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
- Two years experience in a clinical or hospital setting.

Location:
USA – WI – Mount Pleasant – Dura. Hourly wage range: $25.60–$35.20 (subject to qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and local minimum wage). U.S. employees may receive short‑term incentives and eligibility for medical, dental, vision, 401(k), disability, life, tuition reimbursement, volunteer time off, holidays, well‑being benefits, up to 80 hours of sick time, and up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
