Receiving Coordinator

Department: GL6 Warehouse

Description

FII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking a Receiving Coordinator to support inbound logistics and warehouse receiving operations at our facility in Mount Pleasant, WI. This position is responsible for coordinating incoming shipments, monitoring freight from transit through receipt, and ensuring shipments are processed accurately and efficiently.

The Receiving Coordinator will serve as a key point of coordination between customer logistics teams, carriers, and internal warehouse operations to resolve shipment issues, maintain accurate records, and support the efficient flow of materials into the facility.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily receiving activities between customer logistics teams, carriers, and internal warehouse personnel.
  • Monitor inbound shipments from pickup through delivery and final receipt.
  • Track and manage aged in-transit shipments, identifying delays, exceptions, and potential service issues.
  • Investigate and resolve aged in-transit shipment gaps within established timelines, escalating unresolved issues as necessary.
  • Communicate shipment status, delays, discrepancies, and exceptions to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with warehouse leadership to align receiving schedules, dock capacity, staffing, and operational priorities.
  • Research and resolve receiving discrepancies involving quantities, purchase orders, bills of lading, damaged freight, missing documentation, and other shipment issues.
  • Maintain accurate and timely shipment and receiving records within applicable warehouse and logistics systems.
  • Follow up with carriers and logistics partners to obtain delivery confirmations and resolve outstanding shipment exceptions.
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks within inbound logistics and receiving processes and recommend solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Prepare and maintain reporting related to inbound shipments, aged in-transit shipments, receiving status, discrepancies, and outstanding issues.
  • Escalate critical shipment delays, recurring issues, and operational concerns to management and appropriate cross-functional teams.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse receiving, inbound transportation, and material flow.
  • Ensure receiving activities and documentation comply with established company procedures and operational requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, transportation, receiving, supply chain, or a related environment preferred.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and time-sensitive activities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with customers, carriers, warehouse teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail with demonstrated problem-solving and issue-resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, and experience working with warehouse, transportation, ERP, or logistics management systems.
  • Ability to accurately maintain shipment records, receiving documentation, and operational reports.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment while meeting established deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of issues, conduct appropriate follow-up, and drive problems through resolution.
  • Ability to identify operational bottlenecks and recommend practical improvements to inbound logistics and receiving processes.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing, electronics, PCBA, or high-volume warehouse environment preferred.
