Sr. Financial Reporting & Consolidation Accountant – Mt. Prospect, IL

This role offers the opportunity to join a highly collaborative accounting team supporting global operations. The Sr. Financial Reporting & Consolidation Accountant will take ownership of key financial processes, including consolidated reporting, monthly close, and audit preparation. You will work cross-functionally with international subsidiaries and ensure reporting compliance with both IFRS and US GAAP standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee core accounting functions such as recording transactional activity, processing vouchers, and managing incoming and outgoing payments
• Compile monthly financial summaries for both individual business units and company-wide consolidation
• Aggregate financial inputs from international affiliates and apply necessary adjustments for period-end reporting
• Assemble comprehensive financial reporting packages aligned with IFRS standards for submission to the parent organization
• Draft full consolidated financial statements that meet US GAAP compliance requirements
• Support audit processes by coordinating documentation requests and providing clear, accurate responses to auditor queries
• Work closely with internal departments and global partners to uphold financial accuracy and reporting deadlines
• Contribute to team initiatives and take on projects or responsibilities as delegated by leadership

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4+ years of professional accounting experience with hands-on experience with consolidated financial reporting
• Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP principles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Familiarity with import/export accounting practices
• Background in manufacturing or industrial sectors a plus
