About the Role:
We are seeking an Accounting Manager with a minimum of 3‑5 years of experience to play a vital hands‑on role, supporting accounting operations. You’ll be deeply embedded in the daily rhythms of finance and operations, ensuring smooth execution of core accounting and billing processes. You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, supporting the month‑end close, handling billing, and compliance tasks.

- Process routine financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in general ledger entries and reconciliations
- Maintain customer and vendor records, including W‑9s and account documentation
- Manage vendor invoices, including processing, 3‑way matching, coding expenses to proper GL accounts, and resolving discrepancies
- Track approvals and support expense classification, vendor audits, and record‑keeping
- Assist with incoming payments, check deposits, and related documentation
- Support monthly close activities, audit readiness, and routine compliance tasks
- Help maintain financial procedure documentation and contribute to workflow improvements
- Manage customer billing and ensure timely, accurate invoicing
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reports and internal systems
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in accounting roles with working knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting procedures, AP, AR, billing, reconciliation, and general ledger
- Advanced proficiency with Quick Books or other accounting software, Excel, and G Suite (Sheets, Docs, Gmail, Drive)
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage high volumes accurately
- Able to identify problems and take initiative to solve them without waiting to be told
- Comfortable working on‑site in a fast‑moving office environment in Mount Prospect, IL

- Competitive salary and benefits package. The company will offer candidates who meet the base qualifications of the role a salary in the $80‑90K range. Candidates who have experience exceeding the basic qualifications and with an immediate ability to take on expanded responsibilities can expect a salary in the $90‑110K range.
