Position Overview

• Program and operate the CMM for bearing‑related measurement projects.
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate a diverse array of metrology equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers and metallurgists to investigate a wide range of bearing‑related projects.
• Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to schedule service and acquire related equipment.
• Maintain detailed machine operation and maintenance records.

• 5 years of daily CMM operating experience in a professional environment.
• Preference for those with PC‑DMIS training: ideally Level 2 or Level 3 certified.
• Must have a 2‑year technical or associate degree in an industrial or scientific field (preferred).
• Desired schooling:
  Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• Knowledge of current safety and environmental best practices.
• Experience using MS Office.
• Strong collaboration and ability to take direction from peers.
• Ability to work independently on multiple simultaneous projects and drive each to formal conclusion.

Salary range $65,000 – $80,000. Compensation decisions are based on factors such as job‑related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographic location, and internal equity.
