The PositionOur community bank client is seeking a Sr. Personal Banker in Mount Prospect, IL. The successful candidate will handle customer service functions while maintaining positive relationships with coworkers and customers.
The role offers a salary of up to $65K plus incentives and excellent benefits.
Sr. Personal Banker responsibilities include:- Manage customer bank accounts; open, close, and oversee transactions
- Resolve issues with banking services and accounts
- Answer incoming calls from customers and resolve basic inquiries about deposits and loans
- Perform account maintenance for customers changing their banking products
- Follow the bank’s operating procedures
- Handle additional functions including detailed reporting as assigned
- Escalate issues when necessary to achieve successful customer service

You also bring the following skills and experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of customer service or similar experience
- Experience in loan sales, application processing, and loan closing at a financial institution
- Ability to understand and explain credit reports, liaise with members on loan stipulations, schedule closings, and process loan documents
- Successful track record in selling ancillary insurance products
- Ability to build positive relationships within the bank, demonstrating integrity, dedication, and strategic counsel
- Strong written and oral communication skills; able to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely
