Quality Control Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Technician to join our team on the 1st shift. This role requires splitting time between Glenview and Mount Prospect for the initial six months before transitioning to the location with the greatest need. The primary responsibility is managing sample duties to support the Quality Control group.

• Manage sample duties to support Quality products.
• Work on the production floor to ensure all filler operators are following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) correctly.
• Inspect incoming raw materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Verify lot and product numbers match with bottle numbers.
• Document production goals for nine lines.
• Audit documentation and manufacturing processes.
• Audit incoming raw materials.
• Collect samples from production lines for laboratory analysis.

• Proficiency in Quality Control and Documentation.
• Strong understanding of Sciences, Inspection, and Labeling.
• Experience in batch record review.

• An Associate’s degree in Science is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Materials Science, Physics, or Geology is advantageous.
• Relevant experience in Quality Control is considered, even without a degree.
• Interest in pursuing a career in Quality Assurance and Regulatory affairs.

This role offers an opportunity to advance in Quality Assurance and sample management as the company expands. The candidate will start in a staging room and transition to the manufacturing floor, which operates nine lines, all on the first shift. The company follows FDA and GMP guidelines, with a strong growth plan in the generic drug and European markets. The work schedule is primarily Monday through Friday, 1st shift, with occasional Saturday work once a month.

This position is based at the Mount Prospect, IL site and involves a collaborative team environment with seven other members in the QC team, and opportunities for promotion to the QA/Regulatory department.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $20.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job

This is a fully onsite position in Mount Prospect,IL.
