Customer Service Clerk

The Customer Service Representative attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services. Process orders, prepare correspondences and fulfill customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction. As a customer service you also have to handle all the tasks of a cashier.

Regular Full-Time or Part-Time

• Service Desk Operations:
  Answer customer questions, resolve product/service complaints, process returns/exchanges, and handle lottery sales/winnings.

• Register Duties:
  Scan groceries, collect payments (cash, credit, EBT, checks), count cash drawers, and issue receipts.

• Cashier
  
  Coaching:
  
  Help train new cashiers and assist with register line management during peak hours.

• Lost & Found:
  Maintain the store Lost & Found logbook for high-value and standard items per SOP.

• Illinois BASSET Certification required.
• 21 years of age, or older
• High level of accuracy, basic math skills, and dependable attendance.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift and lift heavy grocery items.
• Friendly, approachable demeanor and excellent customer service orientation.
• Empathy, patience, positive communication, and conflict resolution skills.
