To procure quality goods and services at the most competitive prices from approved suppliers for MCL operations to meet the Group’s business objectives.

• Receive, review, and approve IPRs within authority limits.
• Obtain approval from Section Managers and MD for IPRs above authority limits.
• Prepare an annual procurement plan and monitor its execution.
• Coordinate purchases for major expenditures through tender board.
• Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers.
• Ensure that IPRs are promptly issued for goods and services and that LPO/FPOs are approved.
• Follow up to ensure that goods and services ordered are delivered as per specifications.
• Monitor consumption, stock levels, and re-order levels.
• Ensure that returns, printed waste, miscellaneous disposable assets, and materials are sold according to approved procedures.
• Liaise with user departments to ensure that all office utilities are available and cost-effectively used.
• Monitor all insurance matters to ensure adequate coverage, settlement of claims, and record updates.
• Perform annual supplier evaluations and communicate feedback for improvements.
