Youth Achievement Services, a branch of the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The coordinator's role is to assist in developing, organizing and implementing high quality YMCA Child Care programs including Summer Day Camp. The districts this position will serve are Alvarado, Fort Worth (Benbrook area), Godley, and White Settlement.
The ideal candidate must have a demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality programs, combined with the ability to manage the administrative components of programs. Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary to ensure that the participants have a high quality experience at the Y.

Education &
Certifications:
High School diploma required, some college in a related field preferred. Candidate must have at least 6 months of leadership experience in a licensed childcare center, must be at least 18 years of age and meet TDFPS requirements for a licensed director in the state of Texas. Child Abuse prevention training and CPR and First Aid will be required.
Experience & Background:
High energy, positive, "can-do" attitude, flexibility, teamwork, attention to detail and a high degree of initiative will help this candidate be successful. This candidate will need strong interpersonal and problem solving skills along with the ability to handle difficult relationships with staff, volunteers, members and/or program participants. Experience with computer, work, excel, keyboard skills, and basic clerical skills i.e. record keeping, filing, billings, follow up etc.
