Subject Matter Expert (KMI/Tactical Design)

Position Code: PWS 3.2.1 (H)

Clearance Level: Active Top Secret/SCI (Required at time of submission)

Location: Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD

Hours: Monday – Friday, normal business hours

Hybrid Eligible: Yes, subject to agency policy

Travel: Up to 25%

• In the role of Subject Matter Expert (KMI/Tactical Design), you will leverage your expertise to:
• Manage Information Assurance cryptographic devices and provide overarching support for COMSEC programs.
• Design and integrate complex tactical networks, including IP-based networks, SATCOM, and terrestrial transmission systems.
• Apply expert-level knowledge of Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) and tactical tools such as iApp, ACES, SKL, TKL, and NGLD.
• Lead the integration of voice and tactical radio networks into broader enterprise network architectures.
• Serve as the technical lead for firewall administration and Information Assurance System Engineering.

• Experience: Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in COMSEC and tactical network design.

• Background: Strong foundation in Information Assurance principles and firewall administration.
