Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Civil Engineer to support our engineering team in planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in civil engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, and water systems.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, and cost estimates under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Support the preparation of project documentation, reports, and technical presentations.
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other professionals involved in a project.
• Perform basic calculations for load, grade, water flow rates, and material stress levels.
• Use CAD software and other engineering tools for drafting and modeling.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and budgeting activities.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in civil engineering or internship/co-op.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar engineering software.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction methods.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification is a plus.

Preferred Qualities:

• Familiarity with environmental and safety regulations.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
