Restock the automated dispensing system (ADS) weekly and as needed upon request by facility. (per diem: ~6-8 hours weekly / bi-weekly; hours: flexible during facility hours 1-2 days/week as needed) The pharmacist should ensure the integrity of the ADS inventory as it relates to expiration dating and accuracy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Verify deliveries, checking for discrepancies, and accurately re-stocking medications into the automated dispensing system.
- Ensure efficient inventory management by working with remote systems support staff when applicable.
- Reconciling invoice and DEA 222 form upon receipt of inventory.
- Ensure medications are not expired to avoid waste.
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently
- Able to perform satisfactorily
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Pharm D or B.S. in Pharmacy (registered pharmacist)
- Licensed by Maryland BOP in good standing
May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the time onsite. May need to life up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
