Software Integration Engineer II

Overview

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Integration Engineer II to join our team!

The Software Integration Engineers must provide Infrastructure Server and Sustainment services, which the Government will use to enhance and complement High Performance Computing (HPC) sustainment capabilities across two sites and geographic locations, to include the integration and management of the Exceptionally Controlled Information (ECI) data system. Server Ops team members and the Government monitoring service (in some cases 24x7x365) both monitor systems.

All Systems will be integrated and utilize Government monitoring services. The Government monitoring service will monitor and report problems to the Team via Email/phone during business hours.

Responsibilities include providing Infrastructure Server and Sustainment services to support HPC sustainment capabilities, integration and management of the ECI data system, and ensuring systems are monitored by Government monitoring services with issue reporting during business hours.

• 6 years demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment in addition to related degree or 11 years’ experience in lieu of degree.
• Proficient with the following (as specific position requires):
• Provide customer support for HPC software to enable High Performance Computers to continue to run in operations, and support the range of UNIX, LINUX, Windows Systems, desktop applications, servers, and networks required in support of the mission.
• Linux Shell scripting
• Object Oriented Programming Language (C, C++, Java)
• Python Programming
• GCC compiler
• Multi-threaded software
• Parallel processing
• CORBA, J2EE
• Perl or Java Script
• Working knowledge of Configuration Management tools
• Structured troubleshooting skills
• System installation and working with HPC GOTS scheduler and resource management software
