The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is seeking a qualified and trained Database Analyst for a role in an engineering support services program for U.S. Army customers at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. The Database Analyst is responsible for performing tasks relating to Database Management System (DBMS) applications, including definition, design, structure, documentation, upgrades, long-range requirements, operational guidelines, and protection to bring about the successful completion of the CYBERTRON program goals and objectives.

- Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains databases. Identifies data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams and documents the process.
- Writes codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures.
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Typically reports to a project leader or manager.
- Duties include database modeling and design, relational database architecture, metadata and repository creation. Uses data mapping, data mining and data transformational analysis tools to design and develop databases.
- Support duties may include entering and reviewing data within the database, ensuring user data integrity, maintaining database support tools, database tables and dictionaries, recovery and back-up procedures, and making recommendations regarding enhancements and/or improvements.
- Must be a US Citizen and possess a Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Appropriate DoD 8750 certification (Security+ or higher).
- Requires basic knowledge of and ability to apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.
- Eligible for TS / SCI
- Experience supporting Army programs
- Must possess an active DoD Secret clearance at time of consideration
