Overview
Data Lead (Senior) Tech Lead role erclypse is a growth-minded company supporting several Maryland state agencies in modernization and sustainment of critical systems. All positions are onsite at various locations in Maryland.
Responsibilities- Developing enterprise level applications and custom integration solutions including major enhancements and interfaces, functions and features.
- Providing expertise regarding the integration of applications across the business.
- Determining specifications, then planning, designing, and developing the most complex and business-critical software solutions, using appropriate software engineering processes.
- Assisting in the most difficult support problems.
- Developing programming and development standards and procedures as well as architectures for code reuse.
- Understanding and applying the attributes and processes of current application development methodologies.
- Researching and maintaining knowledge in emerging technologies and possible application to the business.
- Acting as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor and change agent.
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Seven (7) years of IT and business/industry work experience.
- Three (3) years as a technical expert in an IT organization, coaching and mentoring junior staff, and providing technical input into complex IT decisions. In-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art programming languages and object-oriented design, coding, testing, and debugging.
