How a Unified Communications Specialist Will Make An Impact- Responsible for the architecture, configuration, and maintenance of worldwide Voice, Video, and Chat, physical and virtual infrastructure.
- Installation of operating system and security patches.
- Assessing the applicability of vulnerabilities and maintain security compliance of the Voice, Video, and Chat infrastructure.
- Provide support for customer scheduled and unplanned outages, regardless of scale and impact.
- Serve as the support for Tier 1 and Tier 2 technicians across all communication platforms.
- Education:
Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science - Required Experience:
8+ years of related experience - Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and DHCP troubleshooting is preferred.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of VoIP technologies.
- Should have a strong background with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Meeting Server, Unified Contact Center, and/or Microsoft Skype for Business
- Experience with Session Border Controller (SBC) and SIP detailed traces is a plus.
- Must have managed virtualized applications or have knowledge of how to manage virtualized applications.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Be a team player and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to monitor and process Capabilities Service Desk tickets.
- Certification: 8570 is required Sec.
- Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly.

The likely salary range for this position is $107,744 - $143,750. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
