Project Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager who will lead technical teams and oversee all aspects of information technology projects. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the overall success of project implementation according to the project schedule and budget, including the full project management life cycle and software development life cycle for the implementation of highly complex, large-scale, strategic IT initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
  • Lead projects from requirements gathering through implementation, ensuring project remains within scope, schedules, and budget
  • Establish and maintain relationships with client stakeholders and provide timely project status and progress reporting
  • Facilitate meetings, including scrums, elicitation calls, and follow up with third-party teams including vendors and general project management calls
  • Demonstrate a passionate approach to project management to establish processes and drive projects forward
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for execution of multiple projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
  • Provide both verbal and written communications regarding project status, risks, issues, and make recommendations on project decisions to stakeholders
  • Report and escalate to management as needed and serve as a point of contact for the program to ensure team actions remain in synergy
  • Must Haves – Required Education, Certifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other related discipline
  • 8+ years' experience as a Project Manager, managing complex projects
  • Demonstrated organizational, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to manage information flows to non-technical management and stakeholders
  • Experience managing projects in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams
  • PMP Certification
  • Extensive knowledge of project management tools used to track project plans and progress
  • Nice to Haves – Desired Education, Certifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), CSM, or equivalent certification
