Location: Mt RainierProject Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager who will lead technical teams and oversee all aspects of information technology projects. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the overall success of project implementation according to the project schedule and budget, including the full project management life cycle and software development life cycle for the implementation of highly complex, large-scale, strategic IT initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlinesLead projects from requirements gathering through implementation, ensuring project remains within scope, schedules, and budgetEstablish and maintain relationships with client stakeholders and provide timely project status and progress reportingFacilitate meetings, including scrums, elicitation calls, and follow up with third-party teams including vendors and general project management callsDemonstrate a passionate approach to project management to establish processes and drive projects forwardCoordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for execution of multiple projectsEnsure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budgetAssist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibilityEnsure resource availability and allocationDevelop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progressManage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniquesMeasure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniquesProvide both verbal and written communications regarding project status, risks, issues, and make recommendations on project decisions to stakeholdersReport and escalate to management as needed and serve as a point of contact for the program to ensure team actions remain in synergyMust Haves – Required Education, Certifications, Skills, and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other related discipline8+ years' experience as a Project Manager, managing complex projectsDemonstrated organizational, communication, and conflict resolution skillsAbility to manage information flows to non-technical management and stakeholdersExperience managing projects in an Agile environment with cross-functional teamsPMP CertificationExtensive knowledge of project management tools used to track project plans and progressNice to Haves – Desired Education, Certifications, Skills, and Experience:
Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), CSM, or equivalent certificationLocation:
