We’re seeking an experienced Nurse Manager – Emergency Department to lead a newly renovated ED in Baltimore, Maryland
. This full-time leadership role is ideal for a clinically strong RN who thrives in fast-paced emergency settings and is passionate about patient safety, staff development, and operational excellence.
As the Nurse Manager, you’ll serve as a clinical and operational leader, ensuring high-quality emergency and trauma-level care while fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do- Lead safe, high-quality emergency and trauma-level patient care
- Serve as the clinical and operational leader for ED staff
- Ensure staff competency, compliance, and adherence to unit standards
- Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity, and budget targets
- Champion patient experience and National Patient Safety Goals
- Support onboarding, performance management, and staff development
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote inclusion and teamwork
- Drive evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives
- BSN from a CCNE-accredited School of Nursing
- Active Maryland RN License (MBON)
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Proven leadership and people-management skills
- Advanced degree (MSN / MHA / MBA or related)
- 5+ years of progressive ER nursing experience with leadership exposure
- National certification (within 1 year of hire preferred)
