** About the role
** We seek a dedicated individual who will be responsible for safely and efficiently performing general labor duties at a municipal solid waste transfer station. The individual fulfilling this role must be flexible to work shifts as assigned, handle special projects assigned by a supervisor, and any other related duties.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Ensure that customers and employees conduct all business in a safe manner and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
* Provide instructions to the customer for the proper location of disposal on the tipping floor
* Perform inspections effectively and accurately in accordance with state-mandated Waste Ban Regulations.
* Direct traffic within the site for residents and commercial vehicles
* Perform general site maintenance including, but not limited to yard work, track maintenance, janitorial work, and minor repairs
* Maintain effective equipment checks (pre and post-operations)
* Maintain various items at the transfer station for continual operation
* Provide customer service to residents that are unloading items from vehicles.
* Perform facility inspection checks as assigned by a Supervisor.
* Follow and enforce all required Reworld safety policies and procedures.

* Qualifications:

*** High School diploma or equivalent preferred;
* Reworld offers GED Works – a fully funded program for employees to achieve their GED
** Must be able to work rotating shifts
* Experience working at sites regulated by OSHA preferred
* Good customer services skills to meet and exceed customer expectations
* Must be flexible to work different shifts, including weekends.
* Acts in a professional, courteous, and cooperative manner toward customers and co-workers
** Physical Demands of the Role:
*** Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb ladders
* Ability to lift/carry 50lbs
* Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
* Qualify to wear a full-face respirator and other PPE
* Consistently work in all weather conditions
** Shift Work:
*** Rotating days – start time is between 6:30am to 8:30am 8-10 hour shifts, 5 days in a week, could be including weekends.
