Lactation Educator RN

Lactation Consultant – Kadlec Regional Medical Center Responsibilities

Encourage and support breastfeeding for Kadlec Medical Center families, including inpatients, outpatients, prenatal clients and employees. Update nursing staff and physicians on current information regarding breastfeeding and perform related duties as assigned.

• Part‑time, 24 hours weekly
• Variable shift

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or higher degree) from an accredited educational institution, or degree in progress. If a BSN or higher is in progress, must be completed within 3 years from date of hire.
• Washington Registered Nurse License (upon hire)
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association (upon hire)
• 1 year recent nursing experience, with emphasis on breastfeeding experience.

Kadlec Regional Medical Center – Richland, WA (West Richland, WA–99353).

$39.62 – $79.20 per hour.
