Experienced Slate Roofer – Historic Roofing

. We’re currently seeking an Experienced Slate Roofer who takes pride in traditional methods and high-quality work.
- Install, repair, and restore traditional slate, tile, copper, cedar/wood shakeroofing systems
- Work with natural slate, copper flashing, and related materials
- Perform detailed craftsmanship on historic and architecturally significant buildings
- Maintain safe, professional job sites and follow company safety standards
- Collaborate with a team of highly skilled craftspeople and preservation specialists
- Travel to various job sites with paid travel time and logistics support provided
- 3+ years of hands‑on slate roofing experience (historic slate preferred)
- Strong knowledge of slate installation, repair techniques, and flashing details
- Comfort working at heights using ladders, lifts, and scaffolding
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver’s license with no more than 4 points, ability to pass a pre‑employment drug test and background check
- Commitment to quality craftsmanship, safety, and professionalism
- Desire for a long‑term career in historic preservation roofing
- Competitive pay
, based on experience and skill level ranging from $25-$45+ per hour. - Performance‑based advancement opportunities
