Senior Full Stack Developer

Zachary Piper Solutions is hiring a Full-Stack Java Developer (Spring Boot & React) to support the development of secure, scalable web applications in an Agile environment. This position is hybrid in Laurel, MD and requires Secret DoD Clearance
.

• Develop microservice-based APIs using Java Spring Boot in support of React-based front-end applications.
• Participate in the full Agile software development lifecycle, including sprint planning, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Work with RDMS databases like Postgre
  
  SQL and No
  
  SQL databases like Redis.
• Implement automated unit testing using JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile Scrum teams to complete user stories and deliver production-ready code.
• Support performance tuning, load testing, and troubleshooting activities.
• Conduct code reviews and adhere to development standards and best practices.
• Interface with customers and external teams to explain application functionality and behavior.
• Communicate sprint commitments and demonstrate completed functionality to stakeholders.

• Master’s degree in a related discipline plus 4 years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years, or 12–15 years of software development experience without a degree.
• Experience developing in microservice architectures and using Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• 3+ years of Agile experience with Dev Sec Ops  and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience developing React web applications.
• Working knowledge of Docker and Apache Camel preferred.
• Familiarity with DoD STIG process is a plus.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.

• Salary Range: $130,000 - $160,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
