OverviewAMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee‑owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.
Responsibilities- Demonstrate a knowledge of standard programming algorithms, design patterns, and object‑oriented software design.
- Develop, evaluate, and review C++ language code programming using C++, Python 3, and MATLAB.
- Have experience with model‑based system engineering approaches.
- Collaborate with team members to design future enhancements.
- Develop software for an advanced synthetic modeling and training environment.
- Support software development, software integration, customer training, and demonstrations.
- Develop Web‑based applications using development technology.
- Design tests ensuring proper behavior of models.
- Minimum 4‑5 years of relevant work experience.
- At least 4‑5 years with weapons systems modeling.
- BS in Computer Science or Engineering. Degrees in Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or Aerospace, Computer, Software Systems, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering may qualify with at least 5 year’s of C++ experience.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee‑owners. The salary range for this position is USD $93,900.00/yr – USD $/yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
