Air and Ocean Export Specialist

We are seeking a highly competent Logistics Coordinator with air freight experience to oversee and facilitate the end-to-end supply chain operations of our company. This role is responsible for coordinating personnel, carriers, and processes to ensure the effective planning and execution of shipments—particularly time-sensitive and mission-critical air movements.

• Coordinate and monitor end-to-end supply chain operations, with emphasis on air freight and time-critical shipments
• Plan, execute, and track domestic and international air cargo movements, including coordination with airlines, ground handlers, and trucking partners
• Ensure facilities, assets, and communication channels are utilized effectively to support operational efficiency
• Utilize logistics and transportation management systems (TMS) to optimize routing, documentation, and shipment visibility
• Coordinate logistics personnel and external partners (e.g., truck drivers, airlines, freight forwarders) based on availability and operational requirements
• Supervise assigned shipments from origin through final delivery, proactively resolving delays or disruptions
• Communicate with suppliers, vendors, customers, and government stakeholders to achieve cost-effective solutions and high customer satisfaction
• Price, plan, and track shipments while maintaining compliance with contractual, regulatory, and security requirements
• Maintain accurate records, shipping documentation, and compliance files for audit and reporting purposes

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator, Air Export/Import Coordinator, or similar role
• Hands-on experience with air freight operations, airline coordination, and time-critical logistics
• Knowledge of multimodal transportation, including air, ground, and interline movements
• Customer service experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and track multiple shipments simultaneously
• Computer-savvy with working knowledge of logistics and transportation software
• Strong organizational, coordination, and documentation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
