Automotive Warranty Administrator
Ford Square of Mt Vernon in Mt Vernon, IL is looking for an experienced Automotive Warranty Administrator to manage the processing, submission, and follow-up of warranty claims with Ford and other vendors, along with tracking and management of technician timecards and compensation. This role works closely with service advisors, technicians, and the service manager to ensure warranty documentation is complete, compliant, and submitted accurately and on time.
If you have a strong grasp of Ford warranty procedures and a track record of keeping claims organized and resolved, this is a role where that expertise is put to direct use.

- Manage the timecard and tracking of technician compensation
- Process and submit warranty claims to Ford and other vendors as required
- Verify all documentation for accuracy, including repair orders, technician notes, and labor operations, photos submissions to ford for approvals.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer policies, warranty guidelines, and audit standards
- Track claim approvals, denials, and chargebacks through to timely resolution
- Stay current on Ford warranty policies, bulletins, and procedural updates
- Communicate with service advisors and technicians to resolve claim-related questions
- Reconcile and post warranty credits and payments to accounting
- Prepare for and assist with warranty audits as needed
- Keep organized warranty files and reporting logs
- 4+ years of experience as an Automotive Warranty Administrator or Warranty Clerk required
- Prior Ford warranty and labor time coding experience strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of dealership repair order documentation and service department workflows
- High accuracy and attention to detail with records and data entry
- Ability to problem-solve and follow through on claim resolutions from start to finish
- Proficiency with DMS systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license required
