Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care Hospital

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with acute care and Epic experience for a day shift role at an acute care hospital.

Job Details

• Position is in an acute care hospital setting,

• Work schedule is Friday, Saturday, Sunday, plus one additional day (4x10-hour shifts, 7:00-17:30),

• On-call rotation occurs every 7 weeks for coverage as needed,

• Holiday coverage is required, with one holiday shift per year,

• Patient care is provided in the PT Acute Care Hospital unit,

• Must comply with 70-mile radius rule-no local travelers accepted,

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required,

• Current BLS certification required,

• State PT license required if applicable,

• Previous Epic EMR experience required,

• Rehabilitation hospital experience preferred,

• Must be able to shave to ensure proper mask seal during fit testing,

Additional Information

• Caribbean blue or khakis with lab coat are required attire,

• Travelers are not permitted to use their own PAPRs or CAPRs; masks must be properly fitted and personal devices are not allowed,

• Failure to comply with fit testing shave policy will result in contract cancellation,

• Two professional supervisor references from the past two years are required for consideration,

• Applicants must be prepared for physical demands associated with acute care physical therapy,
