Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care Hospital

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with acute care experience for an inpatient acute care hospital position requiring BLS, state licensure, and Epic proficiency.

Job Details

• Inpatient acute care hospital setting with a focus on acute care and inpatient rehabilitation evaluation,

• Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (5x8 schedule),

• Weekend rotation approximately every 6-7 weeks; when working a weekend, the PT receives one day off the week before and one day after,

• Holiday rotation required, approximately one holiday per year,

• Uses Epic EMR,

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience required,

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital experience preferred,

• Current BLS certification required,

• Valid state PT license required if applicable,

• Epic EMR experience required,

• Must be comfortable performing acute care and inpatient rehab evaluations,

• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration,

• Candidates must live more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,

• Dress code:
Caribbean blue scrubs or khakis with a lab coat,

• Fit testing for a standard respirator mask is required; candidates must be clean-shaven to ensure proper mask seal - CAPRs and PAPRs are not provided and personal CAPRs/PAPRs are not permitted on-site, with no exceptions,
