Join a collaborative laboratory team at Memorial Hospital Shiloh, where you'll have the opportunity to practice as a true generalist across multiple disciplines while making a direct impact on patient care.
What You'll Do
- Perform and accurately report laboratory testing on inpatient, outpatient, and outreach specimens.
- Conduct analyzer quality control, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor turnaround times (TATs) to ensure timely patient results.
- Communicate critical results to providers and care teams promptly and accurately.
- Work throughout multiple laboratory areas, including:
- Hematology/Coagulation/Urinalysis
- Chemistry
- Blood Bank
- Molecular
- Send Outs
- Specimen Processing
Schedule
- Evening Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- Weekend rotation currently every 5th weekend
- Two holidays per year
- Evening shift differential available
Qualifications
- MLT or MLS certification required through ASCP, AMT, or AAB.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Preferred: 2-3 years of generalist laboratory experience, including Blood Bank.

OverviewMemorial Hospital Belleville is an acute care hospital offering medical and surgical services plus critical and emergency care including Children’s at Memorial for pediatric emergency care. Preferred QualificationsRole Purpose
Performs specimen processing and routine / complex testing on blood and other specimens which requires a knowledge and understanding of quality control, basic instrument maintenance, and procedure methodologies and reference ranges. Maintains appropriate documentation of all activities as required. Demonstrates good laboratory practice May also coordinate the activities of the lab.
