As an ICU RN in this travel opportunity, youll engage with talented healthcare teams and multifaceted leadership styles, gaining invaluable experience within a dynamic, collaborative setting.

This role provides a 13-week assignment in a fast-paced ICU environment, allowing you to cultivate your skills with a patient-centered approach, collaborate across departments, and participate in bi-weekly orientation. The department features a 7-bed ICU with a 2:1 patient ratio, and you may also have the opportunity to cross-train and float to Med-Surg or ER, broadening your clinical competence.

Schedule/

Hours:
  • 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
  • Guaranteed up to 48 hours per week (no OT until after 48)
  • Every other weekend and holiday requirements
  • No routine call; rapid call-back within one hour if needed
Key

Qualifications:
  • Active IL RN license required
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS (AHA) certifications
  • Minimum 2 years recent ICU/critical care nursing experience
  • Previous EPIC charting experience
  • Flexible, adaptive, and social; thrives in fast-changing, team-oriented settings
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver evidence-based patient care in the ICU setting
  • Respond to dynamic needs, including occasional floating to Med-Surg or ER
  • Serve as a resource and support for staff, occasionally stepping into a House Supervisor role
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
