Job Summary
Provides care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse or physician, functioning within the scope of license.
Responsibilities- Contributes to the assessment of patients and ensures their well‑being.
- Administers medications and observes patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
- Educates patients/families about disease treatment plans, including self‑care after discharge, holistic health needs, available resources, and follow‑up care.
- Works in a constant state of alertness and ensures safe practices.
- May perform point of care testing according to policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.

Physical RequirementsConstant use of speech for oral communication. Constant standing and walking. Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0‑25 lbs. Frequent sitting, reaching, and keyboard use/data entry. Frequent use of vision and depth perception for near and far distances and for identifying colors. Frequent use of smell to detect odors. Frequent use of hearing for oral communication, body sounds, alarms, and machinery.
Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25‑50 lbs. Occasional lifting/moving of patients. Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, gripping, and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements. Occasional driving. Rare crawling and running.

Work Location:
Illinois. Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS HCP) – American Heart Association (AHA). Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
Pay Range: $20.11 – $32.18 hourly. Sign‑on bonus available for eligible external candidates.
