Flex Truck Driver - Class A Hazmat

Compensation

• Average $90,000 annually.
• $5,000 retention bonus.
• Travel required.

• This position requires the driver to travel regionally to work at various locations as needed.
• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to retail stores.
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages.
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered.

• Monday through Friday; dispatch will vary based on the route being covered.
• Drivers will travel to the assigned location and work from there for the duration of the work assignment.
• Hotel and rental provided when traveling.

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• Currently hold, or have the ability to obtain, a non‑exempt interstate DOT medical card.
• 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years.
• 3 years of DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• English language proficiency (required to comply with federal law).
• Work the required schedule, at the specific location, complete the Penske employment application, submit to background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and drug screening.
• Must be compliant with DOT regulations and capable of maintaining a constant state of alertness and safe behavior; ability to accept responsibility for own safety and safety of others.
• Hazmat endorsement required.

• Must be able to see and hear; required vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Must move frequently, stand, walk, sit; use hands to touch, handle, feel, reach with arms; lift and/or move up to 50lbs (23kg) and occasionally up to 100lbs (45kg).
• Must legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.
