Description
We are looking for an Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist to join our corporate office team to handle accounts payable functions for our supermarkets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate in the daily Accounts Payable & Receivable functions which include verifying invoices, checking prices and reconciling to the vendor's statements.
- Follow AP systems, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
- Collaborate with senior management to ensure monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information.
- Communicate with vendors via telephone and/or email to resolve billing issues.
- Work with stores and vendors to resolve issues related to invoices.
- Compile reports and prepare spreadsheets as required by management.
- Work on special projects as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excel experience preferred

- Monday to Friday
- Mount Vernon, NY:
