Description

We are looking for an Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist to join our corporate office team to handle accounts payable functions for our supermarkets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in the daily Accounts Payable & Receivable functions which include verifying invoices, checking prices and reconciling to the vendor's statements.
• Follow AP systems, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
• Collaborate with senior management to ensure monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information.
• Communicate with vendors via telephone and/or email to resolve billing issues.
• Work with stores and vendors to resolve issues related to invoices.
• Compile reports and prepare spreadsheets as required by management.
• Work on special projects as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Accounts Payable & Receivable experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excel experience preferred
