MEP Superintendent

MEP Construction Superintendent Lead Essential Building Systems Projects Across the Five Boroughs Responsibilities

+ Oversee daily field operations and ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and local codes.

+ Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and field labor.

+ Maintain project schedules and communicate any field issues or design conflicts to the project team.

+ Enforce site safety standards and quality control procedures.

+ Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

+ Lead subcontractor meetings and coordinate project activities.

+ Maintain daily logs, project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and timesheets.

+ Monitor multiple job sites and ensure deficiencies are corrected promptly.

+ Assist with project planning, trade evaluations, closeout documentation, and post-occupancy repairs.

+ Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and professional.

Qualifications

+ 5+ years of commercial construction experience.

+ Prior field experience in plumbing, heating, HVAC, or MEP construction.

+ Strong understanding of heating systems and construction trades.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.

+ Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating field activities.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and mobile applications.

+ Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

+

Experience with NYCHA projects.

+ Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

+

Experience with HVAC controls, boiler/chiller systems, or building automation systems.

+ Proficiency with Bluebeam and Excel.

+ SST-62 Certification.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
