POSITION SUMMARY & PURPOSE The Analyst will support our Public Finance Investment Banking team in all aspects of new business development and transaction execution. The Analyst will assist in deal execution, cash flow modeling, the preparation of presentations, proposals and debt profiles for municipal and not-for-profit issuers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Generate and maintain debt profiles to provide bankers with an overview of a client’s debt position and historical financings

Provide quantitative analyses including financial forecasting, cash flow analysis, and bond sizing using Excel and third-party debt structuring applications

Able to work with data from various sources to develop relevant market-wide and client-specific analyses

Draft high-quality client presentations and responses to Requests for Proposals Assist bankers in the execution of new issue transactions including documentation, pricing, presentations to investors and rating agencies, and deal closing coordination

Monitor market conditions to apply new financing and optimization strategies based on clients’ financing needs

Research projects related to regulatory, legal, policy or client-specific issues

Attend client meetings as required and present information in a clear and professional manner

Advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.

Experience with DBC Finance preferred

Solid understanding of fixed income market concepts and principles EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Finance or similar REQUIRED LICENSES & CERTIFICATESFINRA SIE, series 52, and series 63 licensures (or within 90 days of hire)
