Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse - Onsite - New York, NY - Contract - Day Shift: Monday-Friday, Every Other Weekend - $41-$59

This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Skilled Nursing Facility in Upper Manhattan. The role involves providing care for both long-term and short-term patients during day shifts, Monday through Friday, with alternating weekends. The candidate must be familiar with nursing standards and practices and have experience in a similar setting.

• Provide direct patient/resident care as needed.
• Oversee patient care for long-term and short-term individuals.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of medical records.
• Initiate and maintain effective interdepartmental communication.
• Maintain a safe and appropriate environment.

• BSN preferred.
• Valid NYS Professional Registered Nurse License.
• At least 6 months of nursing home experience.
• Experience with state health department and accreditation standards.
• Knowledge of assessment and care planning processes preferred.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
