- 50% – Paid with the first paycheck.
- 25% – Paid upon satisfactory completion of 90 days of employment.
- 25% – Paid upon satisfactory completion of one year of employment.
Eligibility is contingent on meeting all performance and conduct expectations at the time of payment. The bonus is forfeited if the employee fails to report on the first day of employment and the first two payments must be reimbursed if employment is not satisfactorily completed within six months.
Responsibilities- Assist the clinical team with the admissions process.
- Administer medications, treatments and procedures per standard nursing practices and facility policies.
- Carry out care plans and medication orders from physicians and nurse practitioners.
- Educate clients on medication side effects and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Monitor clients for substance‑misuse related withdrawal symptoms.
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide crisis management, often involving intoxicated clients.
- Promote Brite Life Recovery to prospective clients and employees.
- Maintain resident confidentiality and privacy.
- Ensure quality of care by adhering to OASAS standards and facility protocols.
- Assist with problem resolution by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
- Current RN license in good standing in New York.
- Experience with documentation and data entry within an EHR.
- Experience working with alcohol or substance use treatment preferred.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer service skills and professionalism in interactions with staff and clients.
- Ability to assess needs and provide nursing services to individuals detoxifying from substance use.
- Screening skills for psychoactive substance toxicity, intoxication and withdrawal symptoms.
- Screening skills for danger to self or others.
- Analytical skills to interpret data for nursing recommendations and priorities.
- Adherence to acceptable ethical and behavioral standards.
- Participation in continuing professional development.
- Understanding of toxicology testing procedures, benefits and limitations.
- Knowledge of strategies for treating alcohol, cocaine and other drug use.
- Knowledge of medication‑assisted therapy.
- Ability to provide education and information to individuals and groups about substance use.
- Knowledge of accepted principles of client record management.
