Description

Outpatient Therapist – provide a full range of therapeutic counseling and intervention to youth and adults with psychiatric, emotional and behavioral issues. Deliver individual, group and family counseling, assessment, and diagnosis. Collaborate with co‑workers, community partners, significant others and other persons to ensure coordination of services.

Offices at 65 Messimer Drive, Newark, Ohio, and 8402 Blackjack Road, Mount Vernon, Ohio – both a short 30‑minute scenic commute from Columbus, Zanesville, and Lancaster.

Candidates must possess strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other service providers. Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling required; 1–3 years of therapy experience with the SMD population preferred.

Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) preferred. BLS/CPR certification required for Outpatient Therapists who also provide on‑call crisis intervention services.

Basic computer, phone, and typing skills are necessary for all positions.
