Quickmed is hiring a Medical Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will work at our health center, located in a bright and open office space. As a Medical Receptionist, you’ll be responsible for providing support and information to patients as they arrive for their appointments. This role involves a significant amount of administrative tasks and data entry, along with frequent communication with doctors and other medical professionals.
Strong communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in Office Software:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, medical software, and electronic health records (EHR) systems. - Problem-Solving:
Ability to handle patient concerns and administrative challenges with a calm, solution-oriented approach. - Confidentiality:
Understanding of and commitment to maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA. - Team
Collaboration:
Ability to work well with medical professionals and other staff to ensure smooth operations.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A basic requirement for this position.
- Previous Experience in a Medical or Administrative Role:
At least 1-2 years of experience working in a healthcare setting or performing similar administrative tasks is preferred. - Familiarity with Medical Terminology:
Understanding basic medical terminology is beneficial for accurate communication with patients and medical staff. - Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) Systems:
Familiarity with EHR software or similar systems is a plus. - Certification in Medical Office Administration (Preferred): A relevant certification, such as in medical office administration, is an advantage.
- First Aid or CPR Certification (Preferred):
While not required, certification in first aid or CPR may be beneficial. - Bilingual (Preferred):
Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus, especially in diverse communities.
