Location:

Mt Vernon

Schedule
  • Monday–Friday
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Start times between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide personal care based on each patient’s needs and preferences
  • Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and daily activities
  • Ensure patient safety and proper use of equipment
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
  • Take and record vital signs (with demonstrated competency)
  • Monitor skin integrity and report changes promptly
  • Offer respite support to families and caregivers
  • Communicate observations and updates to the Case Manager
  • Build meaningful connections with patients and their loved ones
What You Bring
  • At least 16 years of age
  • Current state certification as a nurse aide
  • Active CPR certification
  • Clear listing on the state aide registry
  • Comfort with the hospice philosophy and caring for terminally ill patients
