General Laborer

Mancan is working with a company in Mt Vernon looking for a general laborer for a short term project. This project will last for about a month, with the possibility of extension based on production needs. Hours are Monday-Friday, 6am-3pm. Pay is $18/hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the setup and preparation of concrete forms and molds.
• Help pour, place, and finish concrete according to production specifications.
• Strip and clean concrete forms after products have cured.
• Perform general cleanup of work areas, tools, and equipment to maintain a safe and organized workplace.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.

Qualifications:

• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in varying weather and plant conditions.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Previous construction, manufacturing, or concrete experience is preferred but not required.
