General Laborer

Mancan has partnered with a local manufacturing company in Mount Vernon that is looking for a dependable General Laborer to join their 1st shift team!

Pay: $16.50/hour. Opportunity for a pay increase when hired permanently. FREE health insurance available through the company upon permanent hire!

Shift: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Job Duties:

- Perform general assembly and factory work
- Package products into boxes
- Stack finished boxes onto skids
- Perform accurate piece counts
- Read and use a tape measure
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Good hand-eye coordination
- Strong attendance and reliability
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- The ability to read a tape measure
