Compensation- Weekly Estimated Pay Range: $7,530-$7,930
- Position: Locum Tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Location: Mount Vernon, OH 43050
- Start Date: May 4, 2026
- End Date: August 3, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks (3-month block) with option to extend
- Openings: 2
- Schedule: 5 shifts/week
- Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts (08:00-17:00)
- Call: Approximately 6 night call shifts/month
- Facility Setting: Small rural hospital (99 beds); CRNAs work independently for the most part with supervision and support available 24/7
- Typical Volume: 5-6 starts/day
- Case Mix: General OR anesthesia + OB anesthesia; no heads/hearts/major trauma
- Privileging Timeline: 30-45 days
- Active CRNA certification and ability to meet credentialing/privileging requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of recent CRNA experience providing general anesthesia
- Required Skill: Ability to place and manage labor epidurals (OB anesthesia)
- Current BLS and ACLS (AHA preferred)
- EMR/Charting: Allscripts experience preferred
- COVID-19 Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
- Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for general OR cases and OB anesthesia coverage as needed
- Perform pre-anesthesia assessments, develop anesthesia plans, and manage perioperative patient care
- Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia; manage airways, hemodynamics, and pain control
- Place and manage labor epidurals and coordinate care with OB and nursing teams
- Document anesthesia care accurately and timely in the EMR
- Participate in scheduled night call and respond to urgent/emergent anesthesia needs
- Work effectively with available anesthesiologists and OR/Pre-Op/PACU staff to support excellent patient outcomes
