DescriptionQuickmed is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our patients, promote wellness, and support recovery. You will play a key role in educating patients and their families on preventive care and healthy living practices.
We are looking for a reliable, knowledgeable professional who can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and dedicated to delivering exceptional care.
Responsibilities- Monitor and assess patient conditions to provide optimal care and advice
- Observe and communicate symptoms and changes in condition to physicians
- Collaborate with providers and healthcare team to develop individualized care plans
- Perform routine clinical procedures (e.g., vital signs, injections) and document in patient charts
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards (e.g., sanitize equipment, prepare patient areas)
- Provide immediate care in emergencies
- Assist during surgical procedures when needed
- Supervise and mentor LPNs and nursing assistants
- Support patients and their families with compassion and clear communication
- Pursue continuing education to enhance knowledge and skills
- Proven experience as a Registered Nurse
- Urgent Care preferred
- Strong knowledge of nursing care methods and emergency protocols
- In-depth understanding of health and safety procedures (sanitation, decontamination, etc.)
- Current RN license in good standing
- BSc in Nursing or diploma from an accredited nursing program
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Compassionate, dependable, and adaptable
