Position OverviewAs an Apprentice Electrician at Coffing Electric, you’ll support residential and commercial electrical projects while learning the trade from the ground up. This role is ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined, dependable, and serious about developing professional electrical skills.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Journeyman and Lead Electricians on residential and commercial jobs
- Learn electrical systems, tools, materials, and safety procedures
- Pull wire, install outlets, switches, lighting, and devices under supervision
- Help with panel installs, service upgrades, and rough‑ins
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites
- Follow NEC guidelines and Coffing Electric quality standards
- Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to learn
- Entry‑level or early‑career electrician (trade school a plus, not required)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift, climb, bend, and work in various jobsite conditions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Dependable, coachable, and safety‑focused
