Are you ready to join as a Cabin-Life Coordinator? In this role, you'll serve as a year-round leader focused on camper and family experience, accommodations, housing, behavioral support, seasonal staffing, cabin culture, and volunteer integration. You'll partner closely with the Admissions Coordinator, Volunteer Manager, Medical Team, Program Coordinator, and Camp Director to create safe, inclusive, and meaningful experiences for campers, families, volunteers, and staff throughout the year.

The Cabin Life Coordinator serves as a key contributor to camper recruitment, application review, accommodation planning, seasonal staffing, volunteer matching, family readiness, and camper support throughout the year.

MINIMUM AGE OF 21 REQUIRED.

• Serve as a year-round advocate for camper and family experience across all Camp Korey programs.
• Participate in camper recruitment efforts, camper application review, placement discussions, and accommodation planning to help ensure campers and families receive the support they need for a successful camp experience.
• Collaborate with the Admissions Coordinator on camper applications and forms by providing input regarding accommodations, support needs, housing considerations, and information that helps prepare staff and volunteers to support campers and families successfully.
• Conduct camper and caregiver phone calls to gather information, answer questions, build relationships, and help families prepare for participation in Camp Korey programs.
• Partner with the Medical Team to develop accommodation plans, housing assignments, behavioral support strategies, caregiver support plans, and camper readiness processes.
• Participate in recruitment, interviewing, and selection of seasonal staff across both Program and Cabin Life teams.
• Assist with review of seasonal job descriptions and recruitment materials.
• Directly supervise seasonal Cabin Life leadership positions, including Cabin Life Leads, Inclusion Specialists, and other assigned Cabin Life team members, by providing coaching, mentorship, accountability, evaluation, and performance feedback.
• Lead Cabin Life portions of seasonal staff training and orientation, especially topics related to cabin culture, family engagement, accommodations, inclusion, behavioral support, communication, caregiver partnerships, and leadership development.
• Partner with the Volunteer Manager to help ensure volunteers are effectively integrated into camper and family experiences and feel prepared, supported, and successful in camper-facing roles.
