The Opportunity:

Under the administrative direction of the Dean of Libraries, eLearning, and Learning Resources, the position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of tutoring and related learning support approaches. The Director stewards ethical, student-focused innovation in tutoring, integrating tools like AI where they amplify-not replace-the personalized, high-touch tutoring experience that drives student success. The position works collaboratively with Library, eLearning, and Writing Center colleagues to create integrated, technology-enhanced learning support systems across the unit.

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position working 40 hours per week, 12 months a year.

Skagit Valley College is on the traditional and unceded territories of the Coast Salish People's, especially on Swinomish Indian Tribal Community, Upper Skagit Indian Tribe, Samish Indian Nation, Nooksack Indian Tribe and Sauk-Suiattle Indian Tribe.
